Meet the Staff

Rose Monday

Head Coach

Rose Monday has been selected as an assistant track and field coach women’s distance, for team USA Olympic Games in London, 2012 and Rio 2016. She is currently the chair for women’s development for USA Track and Field. Rose is now  Rose is currently Chair of Development for USA TRACK AND FIELD.

Scott Slade

Assistant Coach

Scott Slade joined us last spring as Assistant Coach. Scott brings a wealth of knowledge in training theory and coaching especially in the longer middle distance events.  We have known each other for over 30 years and he took over for me at UTSA when I left.  Scott has served on two International Coaching  TEAM USA Staffs for USATF.

Alexey Kosenkov

LMT

Alexey Kosenkov, LMT has been with us for 6 years and been a massage therapist for 15 years specializing is sports medicine.  In addition to helping us, he is under contract with the Spurs and has already served on multiple TEAM USA National Staffs. 

Dr. Julie Wiernik

CC-AASP

Dr. Julie Wiernik, CC-AASP has been with us almost two years this February. She is certified in Clinical Psychology as well as Sports Psychology.  Julie is certified with the USOC and has just been accepted into the rotation of  Sport Psychologists working with USATF TEAM USA.

Dr. Patrick Doyle

DC

Dr. Patrick Doyle, DC has been with us almost a year. His generosity and proximity to the track,  allow the athletes to have a "college training room” feel  with the ability to get chiropractic, hot packs, massage, modalities before or after practice. 

David Greifinger

Athlete Repesentaive and Member of TETC Board of Direcotrs

David Greifinger is an established lawyer and athlete representative, intricately involved in the inner knowledge of USATF operating rules and bi-laws.  He is Dana’s representative has agreed to be the athlete representative for Josh and Tricia.  David has also agreed to help with the 501C3 paperwork. Additionally, he was my agent back in the day. 

E. Jane Gibson

MD and Member of the Board of Directors

Janie Gibson graduated from Medical school in 2017 and is currently completing her training in Family Medicine (with interests in Sports Medicine) at Baylor-Scott&White Hospital in Temple, TX. Janie enjoys being active, and loves to sing karaoke and country dance. Janie will serve on the board of directors for the Texas Elite Track Club.

James Radcliffe

Head TETC Strength Coach

James Radcliffe has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Oregon for 31 years. He is a world renown strength coach, author and speaker.  Jimmy will be designing the individual strength programs including core strength and dynamic warm up routines for the athletes.

Brittany Wells

PT, DPT and Member of Board of Directors

Dr. Brittany Wells PT, DPT  a former Baylor Bear elite track and cross country D1 athlete has been with us since 2014.  Her facility provides access for the athletes to use the Anti-Grav Treadmill and will serve as a Board Member. 

Karen Roesler

Assistant Coach and Member of TETC Board of Directors

Karen Roesler has been with us since 2014 and is also an Assistant Coach and Board Member.  She just retired from Public High School teaching after 34 years. She also coached Track and Field for 12 years.
